Everything you need to know
Booking, insurance, hours, and what to expect on your first visit to our Thornhill clinic.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can book directly with us. If you have extended health insurance, check whether your plan requires a referral for reimbursement, we can help you find out.
Will my insurance cover my treatment?
Most extended health plans cover physiotherapy, chiropractic, and rehabilitation. We direct-bill most major providers. For motor vehicle accident or WSIB claims, treatment is fully covered through your accident benefits or claim, we walk you through every step.
How fast can I get an appointment?
Most new patients are seen within 5 business days. Call (647) 612-9000 if you need something sooner, we keep slots open for urgent cases.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Your health card, a list of current medications, and your insurance details (or claim number, if MVA or WSIB). Wear comfortable clothing you can move in.
Do you treat people who were in a car accident?
Yes. We treat MVA patients regularly and bill your auto insurer directly through HCAI. We also document your treatment for your claim so you do not have to chase paperwork.
How long is a typical treatment session?
Initial visits run about 45 to 60 minutes, they include assessment plus your first treatment. Follow-ups are usually 30 minutes. Plan to arrive 5 to 10 minutes early on your first visit to handle paperwork.
Do you offer direct billing?
Yes. We direct-bill most major insurers including Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life, Green Shield, Blue Cross, and Great-West. We also direct-bill WSIB and HCAI for motor vehicle accident claims. You typically pay nothing at the desk.
What conditions do you treat?
Back pain, neck pain, sciatica, frozen shoulder, plantar fasciitis, tennis and golfer’s elbow, knee injuries, ankle sprains, rotator cuff problems, headaches, post-surgical rehab, sports injuries, work-related strain, and motor vehicle accident injuries.
Where are you located?
We are at 7163 Yonge St, Unit 274, Thornhill, ON L3T 0C6, on Yonge Street just south of the Thornhill and Vaughan border. Free parking on-site.
What are your hours?
Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Saturday and Sunday closed. RehabOne Plus is an appointment-only clinic, please call or message before visiting.
Do I need to see my doctor first?
For most insurance plans, no. WSIB claims do require an initial doctor’s note, but we can help guide you through that step. For private insurance and direct payment, you can come straight to us.
How many sessions will I need?
Most patients see meaningful change in 4 to 6 sessions for routine soft-tissue or joint issues. Chronic or post-surgical cases may need 8 to 12 sessions. We re-assess at week 3 and again at week 6 so you always know where you stand.
What should I wear?
Loose clothing you can move in. Shorts and a t-shirt work for most lower-body, back, and shoulder issues. We have gowns available if you would prefer to change.
Do you treat seniors?
Absolutely. We treat patients well into their 80s and 90s for arthritis, balance and falls prevention, post-stroke rehabilitation, hip and knee replacements, and chronic pain management.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes, with at least 24 hours notice there is no charge. Cancellations under 24 hours may be billed at the full session rate per clinic policy.
Do you treat WSIB claims?
Yes. We are a registered WSIB provider. Bring your claim number to your first visit and we handle all the paperwork, progress reports, and billing directly with WSIB. You pay nothing out of pocket.
What is the difference between physiotherapy and chiropractic?
Physiotherapy focuses on exercise rehabilitation, manual therapy, and progressive loading to rebuild strength and range of motion. Chiropractic focuses on spinal and joint adjustments to restore alignment and mobility. Many patients benefit from both, and we coordinate so you get the right mix.
