Insurers We Direct-Bill

How SABS Coverage Works

Every Ontario auto insurance policy includes accident benefits under the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS). SABS covers physiotherapy, chiropractic. Coverage applies regardless of who was at fault in the accident. The standard benefit minimum is $3,500, and many extended policies go higher.

Any Ontario worker with an accepted WSIB claim can access physiotherapy at no upfront cost. Bring your WSIB claim number to your first visit. We confirm your eligibility before treatment begins.

What Your WSIB Claim Covers

WSIB covers physiotherapy, chiropractic, and other approved treatments for workplace injuries. RehabOne Plus is a WSIB-authorized provider. We bill WSIB directly, you pay nothing for approved treatment.

How Direct Billing Works, 3 Simple Steps

Step 1: Bring Your Benefits Card

Bring your insurance card and a photo ID to your first visit. That is all we need to get started. Our front desk team will collect your group number and member ID.

Step 2: We Submit the Claim

RehabOne Plus submits your claim electronically on the same day as your treatment. No forms for you to fill out. No waiting on hold with your insurer.

Step 3: You Pay Only the Remainder

If your plan has a co-pay or you have reached your annual limit, you pay only that portion. We tell you the exact amount before your session begins. No surprises.

Billing Questions

Does direct billing mean I never pay anything?

For covered services, you pay nothing upfront. You are only responsible for co-pays or any amount above your annual benefit limit. We calculate this before your appointment starts and tell you clearly what, if anything, you owe. There are no surprise charges at the end of your visit.

What if my insurer isn’t on the list?

Call us at (647) 612-9000 and we will verify your coverage before your first visit. We work with many insurers beyond the list above. If your plan is not covered for direct billing, we provide an itemized receipt so you can submit the claim yourself for reimbursement.

Can I use direct billing for my first appointment?

Yes. Direct billing applies from session one. Bring your benefits card and photo ID to your first visit at our Yonge St clinic and we handle the rest. There is no waiting period or minimum number of sessions required.

Do I need a doctor’s referral before coming in?

No referral is needed to book an appointment at RehabOne Plus. However, some insurance plans require a referral for reimbursement. Check your plan details or ask us when you call, we can help you figure out what your insurer requires before you arrive.
